***END OF SEASON SALE*** Offered to you are 5 rooted plantlets from a really neat plant! (and I always give extras!) It is a succulent called MOTHER OF THOUSANDS or MOTHER OF MILLIONS or PLANT OF LIFE or Pregnant Plant or MEXICAN HAT PLANT. It is unique in that it has cute little babies that form and grow around the edges of the wide thick leaves. These babies root and grow into plants like the mother. It is a succulent and should be treated as a cactus. The more sun it gets the more colorful. The leaves turn lighter and take on a pink hue. More sun also keeps the plant more compact. It can grow as tall as 2-3 feet. It is said to bloom when it is about 2 years old. It is cold hardy in the far south but I treat it as a houseplant and protect it from freezing here in upper zone 8. You will be receiving 5 rooted little plantlets. These plants will be 1 inch or smaller, shipped with roots in soil. This size ships amazingly well and takes off growing with little or no shock! Great Christmas gifts to get started for your plant lovin' friends! Get them started now. Put them in little clay pots and keep some on hand for that "spur of the moment" gift...hospital stay, shut-in at rest home, "just because!" Folks really love them! Great houseplant to help with "winter gardening withdrawal!" I pack carefully and will only ship this out on MONDAY or TUESDAY following cleared payment for its safety and quick trip. These would make a wonderful biology or science project for your child or for School! Show the effects of light and no light...Do a scientific study because the leaves are not really leaves but bracs....
