In addition to working as Trading Assistants, we are small-scale growers who just got the bright idea to begin selling some of our stock here on eBay. Welcome! This listing is for 3 pads of Opuntia microdasys rufida, commonly called Cinnamon Prickly Pear. The pads will be approximately 3" - 4" tall and wide. They will be ready for immediate planting when you receive them. They can be grown either in a container or planted directly into the ground. Cinnamon Opuntia has an ovate to round shaped pad which is flat and spineless but loaded with reddish / brown glochids. It makes a fabulous statement in a cactus garden and can be quite useful as a security planting! Mature size of this cactus will be approximately 2' tall x 5' wide. It is a full-sun heat lover and is winter hardy to 15°F. Yellow flowers in the spring produce small chartreuse colored fruit in late summer / early fall.
